THE PUBLICATION

About

Flow Assembly is an independent publication for people learning how payment-platform workflows fit together.

The editorial job

A product designer may ask what a customer should see. An engineer may ask which state a resource exposes. Operations may ask which record explains the money movement. These are related questions, but answering one does not automatically answer the others. Our articles start with that gap.

The collection covers participant accounts and capabilities, funding-method inventories, test boundaries, onboarding evidence, rail selection, wallets, asynchronous transfer states, webhook recovery, idempotency, exception triage, reconciliation identifiers and release review. Moov is the recurring product reference. We use its public documentation to anchor narrow factual statements, then develop original fictional examples and review questions.

Responsibility and independence

Responsible publisher: James rogan. Editorial contact: roganjame@gmail.com.

This publication is not affiliated with, sponsored by or operated by Moov. Subject names identify the subjects of the articles, not the publisher. The publisher funds this website. This publication does not receive affiliate commissions or payment for the articles in this collection.

This publication is not Moov, a bank, a payment processor, a compliance team or an integration consultant. It provides no account login, application, credential form, document upload, payment function or live status query. It cannot determine whether a person, business, payment method or flow is eligible.

Sources and limits

This collection was prepared with automated assistance using the public sources cited in the articles. A source-check date records a source review, not a professional certification or an account test. The publisher is responsible for deciding what is published and for assessing reported corrections.

Source-check dates identify a review of public material. They are not evidence that we used an account, ran a provider integration, moved money or received professional approval. We claim no customer interviews, endorsements, privileged access or certification. Product documentation and commercial arrangements can change after a source review.

General engineering questions are educational prompts rather than an implementation specification. Production software needs its own security, privacy, compliance, contractual and operational review by authorized teams. Our simplified diagrams omit implementation details deliberately and are labeled as concepts, not provider screens.

The Integration Path Lab

The tool combines five predefined choices: workflow, review stage, decision ownership, evidence readiness and successful versus exception path. It produces six questions or checks. It has no free-text field, amount input, document upload, credential request or provider connection. Choices remain in current-page memory; the supplied tool does not send or persist them or change the page address.

The exercise cannot validate code, approve a release, authorize money movement, determine a capability state or guarantee timing. A fictional payout test is a teaching example, not a recommendation to initiate a payment. Printing invokes the browser and chosen printer; those systems have their own behavior.

Corrections and access

Use the publication contact address to report a broken source, an unclear passage or an error. Include the article address and a public reference. This website does not access payment accounts, accept financial records, or provide official Moov support. Give the page address, the passage and a relevant public reference. An accessibility report can identify the affected control and expected behavior without containing account details.

The package includes labeled native controls, keyboard focus, text alternatives, no-script explanations and optional reading-position storage. These features are not accessibility certification. The publisher must review its installed website and any added software.

This is general education, not individualized financial, legal, tax or compliance advice. Read Contact for editorial requests and Privacy for the supplied data-handling behavior.
